According to Ben Affleck, his wife, Jennifer Lopez, is disturbingly obsessed with Yellowstone. Affleck and Lopez first dated in the early 2000s before splitting up for almost 20 years following box office failures they costarred in like Gigli and too much attention from the public. However, they rekindled their relationship in 2021 before marrying in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2022. Like any relationship, they share shows they love, with Yellowstone holding a special place.
Affleck appeared on The Bill Simmons Podcast (via EW) to promote his upcoming film Air when he revealed Lopez's affinity for Yellowstone. He el aborated, pointing to the show's relationships, notably Cole Hauser's, as to the motivations behind her obsession, which he found amusing given his past with the actor. However, Lopez also seemed insistent that Affleck enjoyed the show, showing him clips to intrigue him. Check out Affleck's comments on Lopez's love for Yellowstone
"I'm kind of disturbed that my wife really likes Yellowstone. Part of me thinks that she's really drawn to the romance between Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly. Jen showed me a clip of her off of Instagram, the monologue she has with the kid in the car about the ways to become rich. And then she was like, 'I love this story of these two.' I was like, 'Wait a minute? With Hauser? With Cole Hauser? What do you love about it?'"
Jennifer Lopez Is Not The Only One Obsessed With Yellowstone

Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone gradually became one of the most popular series on Paramount Network, with the family drama around the Dutton family bringing the huge appeal. Due to word of mouth, the show saw increased viewership ratings each season, which eventually led to Yellowstone landing on the top streaming charts for the first time. The Western drama also scored its first one billion minutes viewed week (December 26, 2022-January 1, 2023), which is evidence of the show's popularity and the growing viewership since season 1 aired in 2018.
Yellowstone has become a massive hit, already spawning several spinoffs. In 2021, the spinoff 1883 debuted, a prequel series that told the story of how the Dutton family came to own their Yellowstone ranch. Sheridan again created the series, which stars Sam Elliott, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Isabel May. Another spinoff series called 1923 follows the Dutton family during the struggles of the Great Depression and Prohibition. 1923 stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, with Sheridan as the creative force behind the show.
Sheridan is also hard at work on another spinoff called 6666. It's said to tell the story of the 6666 ranches, which have been running the same way for two centuries, and was originally founded when the Comanche nation still ruled West Texas. There is currently no cast attached to the series, but it is said to debut next year. So with Yellowstone capturing the attention of millions and spawning several successful spinoffs, Lopez is far from the only person to find themselves enraptured by the world of the series.
