Kate Winslet just gave this wardrobe staple a glitzy twist. On Wednesday, the Titanic star wore a little black dress with multiple sparkling stripes as she attended the premiere of Finding Harmony: A King's Vision, a new Prime Video documentary.

The actress opted for an asymmetrical look that included crystal embroidery and a floor-length train. She accessorized with diamond drop earrings, while her blonde waves were styled in a side part.

Also known as the "Millennial side part," the popular 2000s hairstyle is back with a vengeance in the 2020s. Stars ranging from Bella Hadid to Rihanna have pulled off side parts in recent years, even as Zoomers have critiqued the look on TikTok.

Winslet's daughter Mia Threapleton recently revealed her mom's hilarious reaction after the 24-year-old saw her Titanic sex scene as a kid. In a 2025 interview, the up-and-coming actress told Defined magazine that she's never actually seen the 1997 film in full.

“I remember the car scene happening and these hands appeared from behind my head and covered up my eyes,” Threapleton said of her mother, who prevented her from watching the steamy sequence. “I was like, ‘I can still hear everything!’"

“I don't remember why it was on," she continued. "My mother would never optionally put that film on. She does not like watching herself. And I totally understand why.”

Winslet appeared alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in James Cameron's box office hit, which turned both leading actors into household names. Now, Threapleton is making a name for herself in Hollywood as the star of Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme.

Threapleton and her co-star Scarlett Johansson twinned in strapless jewel tone gowns at the film's New York premiere. Both looks—designed by Elie Saab and Saint Laurent, respectively—featured asymmetrical gathered bodices.
