Jennifer Lawrence has arrived at the 2024 Oscars Vanity Fair After Party in an elegant gown from the Givenchy couture 1996 collection.
Lawrence, who appeared briefly on stage during the Oscars to present Emma Stone with her Best Actress award, swapped from a polka-dot dress into an evening-ready look from one of Givenchy’s most acclaimed couture shows.

In 1996, this dress, modelled by Kate Moss, was part of a collection that featured a range of looks inspired by the antique dress style of the Empire silhouette, giving it a more contemporary spin at the time. Traditional in form, the Empire silhouette features a fitted bodice that ends just below the bust, giving the illusion of a high waist. The dress then extends into a gather at the hem, with a flowing train attached at the waist.

Lawrence’s dress also boasts a ruffled collar, with feathers extending to the rear of her neck. An all-over four-leaf clover pattern extends right over the sheer dress, with Lawrence rounding out her outfit with a simple cuff and small diamond earrings.
