Last week Bold & Beautiful left us with more questions than answers about who Luna’s father really is. Li hurled accusations and turned to a paternity test for the truth, while Luna searched her soul about her father during a heart-to-heart with Bill. The coming week’s preview hints that the answers everyone seeks could be around the corner.
Taylor and Ridge’s reunion set Finn and Steffy down the path to having a deep conversation about family. Finn reflected on his family drama and how his father’s affair had deeply hurt his mother. However, there was something to be thankful for right around the corner. Coming up, Taylor, with Ridge, says to Steffy, “Your anniversary!” Steffy, smiling, nods, “I’m looking forward to being with my husband.” Poor Steffy thinks it’s smooth sailing, but Finn’s family’s messy history might capsize things!
Li accused Poppy of seducing her ex-husband Jack and him being Luna’s father, an accusation Poppy and Jack denied. It was the only answer that made sense to Li, given Poppy was always evasive about who Luna’s daddy was. Li forced Jack to submit to a paternity test and, of course, was stunned when her accusation was unfounded and Jack was not Luna’s father. So then, who is? Li says to Finn this coming week, “We’re still left with a mystery. Who is Luna’s father?” Yes, Finn has now been pulled into this story, but viewers have long speculated that he was Luna’s father.
As Bill continued to keep his family from discovering Luna was living in his home, it only reinforced Luna’s wishes that he was her dad. Luna admitted she saw nothing of Tom Starr in her face and, at times, wondered if he wasn’t her father, and that her real dad was still out there. She thought it could change everything for both of them. Coming up, Luna says to Bill, “We understand each other. I think I can help.” What is Luna planning now?
Finally, the moment of truth comes in the final moments of the preview. Finn says to Poppy, “You need to be honest with me.” Poppy replies, “Why are you asking these questions?” Finn replies, “You know why, Poppy.” Is Finn about to find out that he is Luna’s father? Or by some miracle, is it actually Dollar Bill?
