The Bold & Beautiful episode airing on Tuesday, Feb. 4, promises to be a game-changer: Daphne does her damnedest to seduce Carter. And whether she succeeds or fails, the whole show will be turned upside-down.
If Carter succumbs to Daphne’s charms and cheats on Hope, it could spell the end of their relationship. After her experience with Liam and his lingering feelings for Steffy, Hope has made it clear that she won’t ever again settle for a man whose heart is divided.
Should the couple’s romance go the way of culottes, the viselike grip they have on Forrester Creations would be significantly loosened — that’s Steffy’s theory, anyway. She could then try to get in Carter’s head and suggest that, as guilty as he is, he leave and sign over the company. Which he does — only not to her, to Brooke.

Then, Steffy would be faced with an incredible dilemma. Does she allow her loathed sometime stepmother to remain CEO or encourage her to follow through on her silly plot to hand the company back to Ridge? If Brooke does that, Steffy would be well aware, it could completely upend mom Taylor’s reunion with the fickle dressmaker.
But that’s not necessarily how it will go down.
If Carter sleeps with Daphne, he and Hope could handle the misstep like adults. He could admit that he made a mistake and got swept away by the moment. Maybe he was rendered dizzy by the fragrance everyone can smell from a mile away. Hope could then give him a second chance — stressing that he would not get a third one!
Further, Hope could explain to Daphne that Forrester Creations has recently adopted a policy that allows for the firing of employees who mack on their colleagues’ significant others. Then we’d get the hilarity of Steffy having to campaign to keep Daphne when she herself was the one who started the “Kiss my man, out you go!” rule.
Of course, there is also the possibility that Daphne will fail to seduce Carter. If he resists her advances, he and Hope will emerge stronger than ever, and Steffy will realize that her scheme to whore out her pal was a non-starter. That actually may be what happens, given that spoilers for later in the week reveal that Daphne gets acquainted with Zende.
