They say the truth will set you free. But this week on Bold & Beautiful, it’s beginning to feel as if what the truth might actually do is destroy a relationship or two! In the latest preview, Steffy and Hope find that their relationships with Finn and Carter, respectively, may not be as stable as the ladies had previously believed!
Last week, Daphne Rose put the moves on Carter, and he very clearly struggled to resist her perfumed charms. Hope, meanwhile, got into it with Steffy, who she was sure was up to no good. Steffy decided her plan needed tinkering, and it was time to turn Hope and Carter against one another! As if that wasn’t bad enough, Brooke came a’calling to ask why Carter didn’t feel guiltier about what he’d done to Ridge, Steffy and Eric.
This week, it looks as if her words might actually be having an effect. Why do we say that? Because Carter admits to Hope that he’s “having a hard time here.” Further, he suggests perhaps Hope should… apologize! Needness to say, this doesn’t go down particularly well with his girlfriend. Did Brooke manage to do what even Daphne Rose couldn’t and come between the previously tightly-united pair?
After Poppy assured Finn that he was not Luna’s father, Finn conducted his own paternity test and discovered that in fact, he is the young woman’s father! While the week ended with him poised to tell Steffy the whole truth — including that her kidnapper was his daughter — we’ll have to see if he actually comes clean.
Meanwhile, the clip above seems to indicate that Li knows the full story about Finn and Poppy’s past… but is she really? Or could a verbal misunderstanding lead to Finn telling Li everything?
As for Steffy, she voices her fears to her parents, saying, “Finn and I have been through more than any couple ever should.” She later adds, “I don’t think this feeling is ever going to go away.” Just wait until they all find out she’s got a murderous stepdaughter… who happens to be living over at Bill’s mansion!
