CBS might consider changing the name of its popular crime drama “FBI” to “FBI: Westchester,” considering how often filming takes place in the county.
On Friday, crews will be shooting scenes for the series — which counts Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Katherine Renee Turner and John Boyd among a large cast — in Yonkers at Getty Square on North Broadway between Main Street and Manor House Square and on Hudson Street between Riverdale Avenue and South Broadway.
Earlier this week, production took over parts of downtown Tarrytown, with Main Street the focus of several scenes on Wednesday and Thursday; production moved to the area around the Tarrytown Lakes on Thursday. A notice posted by the village indicated that filming for “FBI” would cause traffic and parking disruptions on May 11 and 12.
The episode is expected to air May 24. “FBI” airs at 8 p.m. Tuesdays on CBS-TV
The series filmed in Tarrytown in late 2021 for an episode that aired in January.’FBI: Most Wanted’
On May 10, a private home in White Plains was used for filming of a related series, “FBI: Most Wanted.” According to the Westchester County Film Office, actor Dylan McDermott, who recently joined the cast, filmed scenes at the home.
