Dua Lipa rakes in jaw-dropping fortune after stunning Glastonbury performance

Glastonbury headliner Dua Lipa raked in an extraordinary £1 million a WEEK last year from her music – swelling her fortune to around £100m.

The star, 28, turned over an eye-watering £51.6m – up from £24.5m in 2022, and a healthy £21.8m was profit for Dua – a rise of £13m from the previous 12 months.

Accounting books from her Radical Live firm filed this week at Companies House reveal she has cash reserves of £6m and £18.7 listed as investments.

The global superstar took £17.8m of her turnover from Europe, £18.5m from North America, £7.3m from South America, £6.5m from Down Under and £4.3m from the rest of the world.

She earned £46.5m from "performance fees", close to £1m from merchandise, and £4.3m was listed as "other income" on her balance sheet. And she took home a nice salary, as there was £10.7million in the accounts listed under 'payments to members' and only her mum Anesa and herself are listed within the company.

She received high praise for her stunning Glato set with the BBC saying in a review: "Dua hit every mark with the precision of someone who'd been building towards this moment for years. But if that makes it sound clinical and sterile, it wasn't the case."

Her latest album Radical Optimism came out this year and was number 1 in five countries including the UK. And next year's accounts could be even better with the record sales and also gigs planned for Wembley stadium in 2025 having already sold out.

Dua recently set up her telly production company and runs a lifestyle page called Service95 which boost her riches still further in the coming years. Just three years ago, she was worth around £24.5m but has seen her earnings sky rocket.

She hasn’t looked back since her single Levitating was named the No1 song on the US charts of 2021. It was featured on her album Future Nostalgia, which was the best-selling new record of the year in the UK for 2020 and it hit number three in the States.

She's also branched out into acting, including roles in Greta Gerwig's Barbie, which also contained her fourth UK Number 1 single, Dance The Night. And then there are the seven Brit Awards and three Grammys. She was included on the Time 100 Next list in 2021.

Her collaboration with Sir Elton John, Cold Heart, became her third No1 single here and her latest singles Houdini, Training Season and Illusion have all sold well. She has also had lucrative endorsement deals with Evian water and Yves Saint Laurent and is a Versace model.

Dua dreamed of headlining Glastonbury and manifested her biggest show yet while working on her 2017 self-titled debut album. She said: "While I was working on my first album, I had written it down, I guess like a dream board, a manifestation, that on my third album I would love to work with Tame Impala.

"Alongside writing, 'I'd love to work with Tame Impala,' I also wrote down, 'I would love to headline Glastonbury on the Pyramid Stage on Friday night,' and, yeah, it just happened."

Perfectionist Dua's ascent to the pinnacle of pop stardom began from humble beginnings in London to topping charts worldwide. By 17, she completed her GCSEs living in a Camden flat and then made ends meet as a restaurant hostess and working in nightclubs.

Her first music was released on Soundcloud and YouTube before her first single Hotter than Hell made it to number 15 in the charts in 2016.

Working hard and playing hard seem to be in Dua's DNA. In April she told Elle magazine: “You have to make room for joy. The world can be burning down, but goddamn…if you didn’t spend any of your life trying to be happy, I don't know what you’ve done.”
