Fan-Favorite Power Star Returning To Starz Next Month For New Thriller Series

By George Moore 12/19/2025

The fan-favorite Power star Naturi Naughton-Lewis is returning to Starz for a new thriller. Serving as the cornerstone for the Starz brand since its 2014 premiere, the Power franchise is continuing to please viewers with announcements of upcoming spinoffs. There is Power: Legacy, which will bring back Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. in their respective roles as Tommy and Tariq.

There is also Power: Origins, the prequel that will star Spence Moore as young James "Ghost" St. Patrick and Charlie Mann as the young Tommy. It will make history for the Power franchise, with a supersized 18-episode first season. Another familiar face will have a presence on Starz, albeit for an entirely different project.

Deadline reports that Starz has acquired exclusive U.S. rights to the dramatic thriller The Nowhere Man, with Naughton-Lewis in a lead role. She'll star alongside The Woman King's Bonko Khoza, with the South African series set to debut on January 16, 2026. New episodes will be available on Fridays thereafter.

Naughton-Lewis, who is known to Power viewers for her main role as Tasha Green St. Patrick, lends that familiarity to The Nowhere Man

's upcoming arrival on Starz. A six-part drama, The Nowhere Man focuses on former Special Forces mercenary Lukas. Played by Khoza, Lukas has PTSD. Attempting to turn his back on his violent past, Lukas gets by as a junk collector on the streets of Johannesburg.

However, when he witnesses a home invasion and intervenes, Lukas gets dragged back into the violent world that he'd been wishing to escape. Ultimately, if he has any hope of freeing himself once and for all, he'll have to come to terms with the demons and secrets that plagued his old life. Naughton-Lewis, who also serves as executive producer, plays a homeless shelter resident named Ruby.

Naughton-Lewis’s relationship with Starz goes right back to the beginning of Power in 2014. Tasha St. Patrick was a mainstay for six seasons, known for her relationship with James St. Patrick. She later recurred frequently on the spinoff Power Book II: Ghost. The actor reflected on that long history in a statement, which is included below, along with the words of Allison Hoffman, President of Starz Networks:

Naturi Naughton-Lewis: “The Nowhere Man represents an exciting evolution for me as both an actress and executive producer, and I’m thrilled to have my company, Take Two Entertainment, as part of this incredible team. It’s especially meaningful to be reunited with my Starz family to tell a bold, action-packed, globally relevant story. I can’t wait for audiences to dive in headfirst.”

Alison Hoffman: “We’re thrilled to be reunited with Naturi, an extraordinary talent viewers know and love. The Nowhere Man is a powerful addition to our action lineup, and with our audience eager for the next high-octane thrill ride, this show delivers.”

Tasha is still alive, so viewers could see her in some form in any of the upcoming Power spinoffs. But for now at least, Naughton-Lewis is shifting to what sounds like a more grounded but still dramatic thriller.
