Fire Country Season 3 Subtly Hints At Sharon’s Toxic Trait That Could Derail Bode

By Kevin Taylor 10/06/2025

Warning! SPOILERS about Fire Country season 3, episode 6 ahead.

Bode’s future has been the focus of Fire Country season 3, but one thing that could interfere with his progress has been subtly hinted to have to do with Sharon’s approach with him. Ever since Fire Country season 2’s ending confirmed Bode was set to get out after he received the extraordinary conduct credit at the Lazarus fire, everything was devoted to finding what to do with his future for Bode. The impossibility of telling Gabriela about his feelings for her only propelled Bode even more to focus on his career after prison, which he decided had to be firefighting.

The helicopter crash during Gabriela’s wedding greatly changed things for the better for Bode, as his behavior convinced Luke Leone he was ready to devote his life to firefighting. The saves he and Gabriela pulled off were their lifeline for different reasons, as Gabriela would rather focus on patients than her own failed wedding, and being part of the rescuing was fodder for Bode’s test to join the Edgewater training program. Vince and Sharon had been supportive throughout Bode’s Fire Country

season 3 firefighting training, but one of Sharon’s reactions hinted at her approach possibly being harmful to Bode.

Bode focusing on his future in Fire Country season 3 gave Vince and Sharon no reason to worry, instead showing them how intent he was on putting his past behind him. Vince and Sharon even agreed not to over-parent Bode, deeming him out of the woods. Despite that, learning that Bode wanted to move out of their home prompted Vince and Sharon to have very different reactions in Fire Country season 3. Indeed, if Vince supported Bode, Sharon’s mind went to the worst scenario, opposing his move away, especially as Bode still had to graduate from the Cal Fire training.
