Jones is also asked to stage a fake moon landing as back-up as the countdown begins which he is not too thrilled about.

'I know a lot more about the moon than I know about you,' he says to the marketing smarty.

Also in the film are Jim Rash, Ray Romano, Woody Harrelson, Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Christian Zuber and Donald Elise Watkins.

At one point Jason Bateman of Ozark fame was going to star in the movie, but he dropped out.

'The inspiration for this story,' Berlanti, 51, told People, 'was to craft a big, fun, smart original movie around whether or not the American government could have possibly faked the Apollo 11 moon landing, which is still the most-watched live TV event in the history of the world and has since become one of the most talked about conspiracy theories.'
