Sean "Diddy" Combs' abuse suit settlement with Cassie caused the rapper's other scandals to resurface… and it's only the beginning. Days after settling, he was hit with another sexual assault lawsuit. Fans are also suspecting that the deaths of his label co-founders are linked to the allegations against him.
But over seven years ago, it seemed like Howard Stern already knew about Diddy's shady personal life. Back then, the radio personality confronted Usher about living with Diddy at age 14. The U Got It Bad hitmaker admitted that he and his mentor had "wild" times together — causing fans to believe that Usher was also an abuse victim.
Updated September 2024: Diddy's abuse suit settlement with Cassie was only the beginning. This month, Diddy had 11 counts against him for charges that ranged from sex trafficking to racketeering, and even transportation with the intent of prostitution. While his attorney has filed two motions to release Diddy from jail with bail, those motions have been denied. As such, it looks like Diddy will be remaining in jail until his case goes to trial in about a year.

In August 2016, Usher opened up to Howard about living with Diddy "for a year" after moving to New York City. The host immediately said, "That's the crazy thing. That was L.A. Reid's idea, right? 'We're sending you to something called Puffy Flavor Camp.'"
Before Howard got to the sensitive details of the arrangement, Usher cut in, saying: "In the '90s, do you understand what that's like?"
After Howard suggested that Usher's may have been exposed to adult parties, Robin Quivers asked the singer, "And you're parents we're ok [with that]?" The Nice & Slow performer confessed that his parents knew nothing about the situation. "They know nothing about this s–t. I was having a good time."
Robin laughed it off, but Howard was curious if Combs made Usher do "any chores [like] doing dishes to keep you humble somewhat."
Usher said that he "actually stayed up longer" than the grown-ups who partied until the morning. He also had a "per diem" on top of those celebrity house perks. "What a life," Howard commented. But when asked if he'd send his kid to "Puffy Camp," Usher quickly responded, "Hell no."
Usher's self-titled debut album was executive-produced by Sean "Diddy" Combs. It drew flak as he was only 15 yet the tracks were about sex.
Usher didn't specify the "wild" encounters he's had while living with Diddy but he shared how "it was curious" and that he "got the chance to see some things." When asked what a minor could have possibly seen there, Usher had a simple explanation: "I went there to see the lifestyle. And I saw it." He added that he didn't know if he could "indulge and understand" what he was even witnessing back then. "It was pretty wild."
Robin then asked whether "some woman didn't come along…" to which Usher replied, "I didn't say that. What I did say is that there were very curious things taking place and I didn't necessarily understand it.
Later on, when he started mentoring Justin Bieber, Usher revealed that Diddy took him to those parties to "make him rougher with more edge." Looking back, he said: "But I'm not saying Puff was wrong. That first album wasn't my most successful, but it launched the career I've enjoyed for 18 years since."
True enough, Usher went on to make nine records with most of them being hits. Here's a ranking of their success based on sales.

In a 2012 drunken interview, Diddy, who was partying with Usher at that time, accidentally spilled a secret about himself and his former protégé.
The interviewer started laughing at the accidental spill. But the rapper, whose arm was around Usher's shoulder, went on to remind people how young the latter was when they lived together.
Fans were quick to call Diddy out on their relationship. "A grown man wrestling with a 14-year-old over cereal… yeah, nothing weird about that s–t," one wrote in the comments.
Others blamed Usher's parents over the situation.
"People will do anything for the love of money! Money is the root of all evil! Using children as pawns is evil ! What's goes around comes around trust and believe!"
