Jennifer Aniston completely forgot about starring alongside David Schwimmer on Friends in the latest Super Bowl commercial for Uber Eats.
In a commercial spot meant to show that people have to forget something else to remember that Uber Eats delivers almost everything, the actress will receive online delivery services while working on set.
“I didn’t know you could buy all of this on Uber Eats,” a crew member said, before Aniston added, “Yeah, you know what they say, ‘To remember this, you have to forget others.’ Let’s create a small room.”
Schwimmer later ran into Aniston and was excited to see his old friend and former co-star, but the actress didn’t feel the same way. “Have we met yet?” she asked.
After consulting, Schwimmer said: “We’ve been working together for 10 years.” A shocked Aniston replied: “10 years!”
The Morning Show star tried to cover it up, but the actor saw through it. “You still don’t know, do you?” Schwimmer asked, while Aniston admitted, “I don’t.”
As she walked away, the Murder Mystery actress quipped, “It’s like I forgot 10 years of my life.” Schwimmer added, “I hate this town.”
Aniston and Schwimmer played Rachel Greene and Ross Geller, respectively, on the hit sitcom Friends for 10 seasons and were known for their adorable but tumultuous on-screen relationship throughout the series. The new Uber Eats ad also comes more than three months after their co-star, Matthew Perry, passed away. Following his death, the Friends cast, including Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc, all shared touching tributes.
Elsewhere in the ad, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham seem unable to remember which iconic girl group (Spice Girls) Victoria was a member of all those years ago. “Do you remember being Pepper Lady?” the former soccer player asked before Victoria added, “Are they the Que sisters?”
The couple continued to guess, “Basil Babes? Paprika girl? while Beckham said the latter was just “nonsense”.
Rapper Jelly Roll also seemed to forget about his face tattoo in the ad and said, “Did someone doodle on my face?”
Super Bowl LVIII will take place on February 11, when the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers face off in Las Vegas.
