Jennifer Aniston might be ready to date again — and a source said she’s potentially interested in Ben Affleck after he divorces Jennifer Lopez.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially headed for divorce. Lopez filed on Aug. 20, 2024, and noted that they separated as a couple in April 2024. As the soon-to-be exes navigate their divorce, Jennifer Aniston might be waiting for her shot at dating Affleck. Here’s what an insider said about Aniston’s “crush” on the actor.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially over. While Affleck likely won’t be open to dating for awhile, Jennifer Aniston might have her eye on a possible romance with the actor. A source told In Touch Weekly that Anison had a “mini crush” on Affleck “for years,” though she never went for it because Affleck has typically been in a relationship.
“Jen has definitely had a mini crush on Ben for years, but he’s always been in these very serious, long-term relationships during that time,” the insider close to Aniston said. “But change is in the air.”
The source added that Aniston has a “real opportunity” to “make up for lost time” with Affleck as he goes through his separation from Lopez. “They’ve never really been single at the same time before, and Jen has been a true-blue fan of Ben’s for decades,” they added.
Affleck and Aniston worked together on He’s Just Not That Into You in 2009, “but they were trying to figure out a project together for years before then, and they still keep each other in mind for stuff,” the insider added. “There’s a very friendly and flirty open line of communication between them, plus a boatload of mutual friends — everybody from Jon Hamm to Sandra Bullock, who can totally see Ben and Jen becoming a couple down the road.”
