Jennifer Aniston has discussed her admiration for her ‘amazing’ ex-husband Brad Pitt, revealing that he was one of her favorite guest stars on Friends.
In a recent interview with Access, ahead of Aniston and her co-stars’ long-awaited Friends reunion (which will air Thursday, May 27), the cast shared shares some of their favorite guest appearances on the series, from Sean Penn. and Julia Roberts to Reese Witherspoon and Alec Baldwin.
‘You have every A-list star there. Do you have a favorite or most memorable one?’ journalist Kit Hoover asked Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox during the discussion.
According to Aniston, Ben Stiller was ‘hysterical’ and Witherspoon – who played her sister Jill and later became her co-star on the award-winning The Morning Show – was ‘brilliant’.
Of her ex-husband Pitt, to whom she was married from 2000-2005, the actor said: ‘And Pitt is amazing. He’s amazing.”
During the 10-season television series, the Oscar winner starred in the 2001 episode titled ‘The One With The Rumor’ as Will Colbert, a former classmate of Aniston’s character Rachel Green, who had ignore her.
Unsurprisingly, Aniston’s acceptance sparked some mild hysteria from Pitt and Aniston fans on Twitter.
‘True love will prevail. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’, one person wrote.

In 2019, Pitt opened up about his guest appearance on Access and his love for the Friends actors.
“Great cast, man,” he said. ‘I mean, they laughed and really had a great time together.’
While working on set, Pitt revealed: ‘I wrote my first line wrong. We have to stop and start again.”
Even though Aniston and Pitt broke up more than 16 years ago, the pair seem to still be good friends and are often seen congratulating and greeting each other at award ceremonies.
During an appearance at the 77th Golden Globe Awards last year, Pitt told Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of a conflict with his ex-wife: “I will see Jen. She is a good friend.”
The actor then joked that their meeting would be her ‘second most important reunion of the year’, referencing her Friends reunion which was postponed from October 2020 to this month.
