If you could build your own dream team of Hollywood best friends, Jennifer Aniston would definitely be at the top of the list.
The 51-year-old actress first captured the hearts of the world in 1994, playing the spoiled but completely good Rachel Green on Friends. In the nearly three decades since, she’s continued to inject humor and charm into her on-screen characters, making her seem relatable off-screen, too.
But who can really call Aniston a friend in real life? From her ex-husband to her childhood best friend, here’s a closer look at the people in Aniston’s friend group.
Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox played on-screen best friends for 10 years as Rachel Green and Monica Geller. And in real life, things aren’t much different.
In addition to never missing each other’s birthday parties and dinner parties, the two are also part of the most epic moments in each other’s lives.
In 2004, Cox appointed Aniston as godmother to her daughter, Coco, with then-husband David Arquette. And in 2015, Aniston asked Cox to be her bridesmaid when she married Justin Theroux (Cox was also present at Aniston’s 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt).
“There is absolutely no ruling in Court. You will never feel scolded. She’s incredibly fair, ridiculously loyal, and fiercely loving,” Aniston told More magazine in 2014.
“I slept in her guest bedroom a lot,” she added of their friendship. “Without revealing too much of my personal life, all I can say is that she has been by my side through thick and thin.”
It goes without saying that Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer will also be part of Aniston’s off-screen crew.
