Jennifer Lawrence knocked it out the park on Monday when she attended the UK premiere of her new film wearing a seriously chic – not to mention sheer – black gown.
London’s thunderstorms were no match for the stylish 32-year-old, who was working her best angles in the capital to promote her new film No Hard Feelings.
The mum-of-one topped off her outfit with a pair of leather-look opera gloves and wore her hair swept back into what might just be the most impeccable ponytail of all time.
The Oscar-winner’s new comedy, written and directed by Gene Stupnitsky, hits screens on June 23 and sees the Hunger Games actress take on the role of Maddie, a young woman working as an Uber driver who is facing bankruptcy after her car is repossessed.
She accepts a strange Craigslist posting, leading her to be employed by the parents of a socially clueless teenager, Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), who suggests Maddie pose as his girlfriend in exchange for a Buick Regal.
Director Gene was delighted to work alongside the star for the film, which he described to Metro.co.uk as ‘a really great showcase comedically’ for her.

Jennifer also served as producer on the film, which Gene was delighted by – and found a huge perk.
‘She’s great to have when you have to make a phone call and you need maybe some extra money for a song or a favour from someone. To have her be able to make that call makes all the difference in the world!’ he revealed at the London Leicester Square premiere.
The A-lister was also praised to the rafters by her 21-year-old co-star Andrew, who shared that despite her status she was extremely down to earth.
‘I was shooting the movie with my friend Jen – yes, she’s this huge titan and that is ever present, but day to day we beame so close. She’s a really important person to me,’ he told Metro.co.uk.

Jennifer’s appearance in London comes shortly after she flaunted her fashion credentials in Cannes, where she rocked two jaw-dropping gowns in a single day.

The Hollywood star produced the documentary Bread and Roses, which explores the lives of three Afghan women following the Taliban’s takeover in Kabul.
She joined co-producer Justine Ciarrocchi at the 76th annual film festival ahead of its premiere.
The film is helmed by Sahra Mani, a documentary maker who co-founded the independent Kabul production company, Afghan Doc House.
