Kim Kardashian says her current house is her family's forever home.
The SKKN BY KIM founder, 43, revealed that she's in it for the long haul with her famous all-white estate in Hidden Hills, Calif. that she purchased with ex Kanye West in 2014. And while she loves its carefully crafted style, the reason she's staying isn't a purely aesthetic one.
“The best memories I have growing up are in our family home, and I always want to create those memories and safe space for my kids,” Kardashian explained while chatting with PEOPLE ahead of her latest SKKN BY KIM MAKEUP launch. “So, I can't ever imagine moving.”
“We’ve created such beautiful memories here already,” she added.

The Beverly Hills house where Kim grew up with her siblings Kourtney, Khloe and Rob, and their parents, Kris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian, holds a special place for the family.
For Kris's 64th birthday, Kim surprised her mom by renting out the house they once shared. “All our memories live here especially with our dad. It’s where each Kardashian child was born and made us who we are,” she said.
Another reason why the Kardashians star is sticking with the pristine, minimalistic property is because she “loves” the design of it, which she says “took a few years” to bring together. That time and work has helped transform it into her own safe haven.
“My home provides a much-needed sanctuary of calm,” she tells PEOPLE. “When I step inside after a busy day, it creates a sense of peace that allows me to truly be present with my kids. After all, at the end of the day, that's what matters most.”

However, that visual restraint is not always applied when it comes to the bedrooms of her four children — North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 — whom she shares with Kanye West.
“The kids' rooms are a different story – I let them each design their own rooms – they can go wild with whatever colors they want,” Kardashian says.

She and West previously shared that they worked closely with Belgian architect Axel Vervoordt to completely remodel the home, which was decorated entirely in muted shades to achieve a “church-like aesthetic.” Kardashian says the same design themes can be found in her SKKN lines, which include a collection of home accessories launched in 2022, skincare and makeup.
“I wanted it to look really good in my own home and for the home accessories, I wanted to make sure they really complimented the skincare line,” she says.
That ethos will no doubt be carried on for future product releases, of which the entrepreneur teased, “We have a lot of exciting things in the works. I can’t wait to share them."
