Manuel Garcia-Rulfo has joined the cast of the upcoming Jurassic World movie, according to Deadline.
The news about the 43-year-old actor was revealed on Friday, and it was also reported that he would star alongside Scarlett Johansson in the upcoming feature, which is already receiving attention from the franchise's longtime fans.
Details about the character that will be played by the star of The Lincoln Lawyer are currently being kept under wraps.
Development on the upcoming entry in the Jurassic Park film series was initially revealed to the public this past January, when The Hollywood Reporter revealed that David Koepp would pen the movie's screenplay.
The screenwriter also co-wrote the script for the original 1993 adaptation of Michael Crichton's novel, which was directed by Steven Spielberg.

The 77-year-old filmmaker is expected to serve as an executive producer for the new installment in the franchise.
Koepp went on to write the screenplay for 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park, which was also directed by Spielberg.
The Schindler's List director went on to serve as an executive producer for all three films in the Jurassic World film series, which were released in 2015, 2018 and 2022, respectively.
The most recent three entries in the film series starred Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, respectively.
However, the two performers will not reprise their past roles in the upcoming feature.
It was also revealed that Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill, who portrayed Dr. Ian Malcolm, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant, will not appear in the new movie.
It was reported that David Leitch was in talks to direct the new entry in the franchise, although he eventually departed the project.
