Most Wanted Adds FBI’s Shantel VanSanten for Season 5

CBS’ FBI: Most Wanted team will welcome a new — yet very familiar — face to its ranks for Season 5, as seen in TVLine’s exclusive #2024FirstLook at Shantel VanSanten’s move to the FBI offshoot.

VanSanten boarded the well-watched CBS franchise’s flagship series, FBI, in Season 4 when her Nina Chase temporarily filled in for Special Agent Maggie Bell (after Missy Peregrym’s character was exposed to sarin gas in the line of duty).

Nina has since served as an undercover agent and continued to recur throughout Season 5 of FBI. In the May finale, following quite the life-and-death medical scare, Nina gave birth to her and romantic interest/colleague Stuart Scola’s son, Douglas.

(VanSanten’s deployment to FBI: Most Wanted for Season 5 follows Alexa Davalos’ exit from the role of Special Agent Kristin Gaines after two seasons, which was announced in August.)

Also glimpsed among the exclusive photos above and below: Most Wanted team leader Remy (played by Dylan McDermott) will reunite with his long-lost nephew Corey (JD Martin of Manifest and Moonshine), as well as grapple with the events that unfolded with his brother’s case in Season 4’s finale episodes.

FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premieres Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 at 10/9c, where it will again lead out of FBI (airing at 8 pm) and FBI: International (9 pm).
