‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Eric Christian Olsen’s Family Is ‘Safe’ After Losing Home in L.A. Fires

NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen and his family are “together and safe” after the Los Angeles wildfires destroyed their home.

His wife, Sarah Wright Olsen, shared a carousel of photos via Instagram on Friday, January 10, highlighting the damage to the couple’s neighborhood.

“It’s impossible to put into words these last few days. We are together and safe and surrounded by love,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you to uncle Dave and aunt Dani who took in so many of us. We lost our home. It was one of the first areas to go.”

Eric, 47, and Sarah, 41, share three kids, Wyatt Oliver, 11, Esmé Olivia, 8, and Winter Story, 4.

“Our kids have said ‘we all took our first steps there,’” the post continued. “It’s so hard to say goodbye to our gorgeous town, our special school and this place we have loved for 13 years. But we are so so grateful we are together and for the outpouring of love.”

“We have received so many messages from friends offering their homes, food, clothing, hugs, things for the kids, support and we are just blown away, 😭,” she added. “It’s what keeps making us tear up. Thank you it means so much to us. More soon. ❤️.”

Sarah’s post has accrued more than 1,200 comments, with numerous celebrities sending well-wishes to the family.

“I cannot imagine how you’re feeling right now,” wrote actress Robin Tunney. “You are such a strong and [solid] family unit, I know you will thrive but that can’t make the shock any easier right now.”

Hilary Duff added, “Oh my my my. 😞 sending mountains of love,” while Christie Brinkley commented, “So sorry to see this but so glad you are all safely together. ❤️‍🩹”

The Los Angeles wildfires have killed at least 27 people to date and destroyed more than 12,300 structures. The Pacific Palisades fire, which was 22 percent contained as of Thursday, January 16, has affected many celebrities as it swept through the affluent residential neighborhood. In addition to Eric and his family, Paris Hilton, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Billy Crystal, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody and more have lost their homes.

Many, including those who have either had to evacuate or seen their homes burn down entirely, have stepped up to help those in need during the fires. Jamie Lee Curtis, who said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month that “everything” in her community had been destroyed, has pledged $1 million to relief efforts.

Eva Longoria and Beyoncé are among the other celebrities to make seven-figure contributions, while some have pitched in by donating their time and supplies. Jay Leno spent time on Monday, January 13, serving food to Los Angeles firefighters, while Jessica Alba helped nonprofit Baby2Baby prepare fire relief hygiene kits for children.
