NCIS: Tony & Ziva Can Finally Recreate Their Strongest NCIS Episode

NCIS: Tony & Ziva has the potential to recreate several iconic scenes, but there is one episode I hope they remake the most. The NCIS: Tony & Ziva spinoff will follow the popular NCIS couple years after they stopped working as agents. However, with their new storyline, they can still find themselves in old situations.

The newest NCIS spinoff is bound to have similar stresses that appeared throughout the flagship series. The couple may be faced with different challenges, but their chemistry and complicated history remain. This is also why there is one particular 20-year-old episode that NCIS: Tony & Ziva should jump at the chance to recreate to highlight the couple's interesting dynamic.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva Can Recreate “Under Covers”

"Under Covers" remains one of the most iconic NCIS Tony and Ziva episodes, even 20 years later. The pair has had several amazing cases, episodes, and moments, but there is a reason why "Under Covers" from NCIS season 3 remains among the top contenders. It is one of the pair's most romantic episodes and for good reason.

In the episode, Tony and Ziva go undercover as married assassins after the team discovers a murdered couple. They go all out while undercover, staying in the murdered couple's hotel room and acting flirty and loving in public to make their cover believable. However, their act becomes very real when tensions rise and the couple shares a passionate moment.

In NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the couple could recreate this iconic scene by going undercover again, married or otherwise. As the pair investigates threats to their newfound life in Europe, an undercover operation would not be out of the question. It would be like old times with the added detail that they really are like life partners at this point.

Tony And Ziva Going Undercover Again Would Highlight Their Romance

"Under Covers" tells a great story. It also shows how great Tony and Ziva are as a pairing. They work hard and can get the job done, and they know how to be romantic. The chemistry between them is already palpable in regular episodes, but it was highlighted even more when they had to pretend to be married.

The NCIS: Tony & Ziva trailer hinted that the couple's will-they-won't-they relationship status still has not been resolved. As a result, going undercover in the new spinoff could give the pair a chance to remember that they work so well together. Going undercover would highlight their romance and maybe rekindle their spark in NCIS: Tony & Ziva.
