NCIS: Tony & Ziva Can Finally Recreate This Iconic 19 Year Old Scene

19 years later, NCIS: Tony & Ziva can finally recreate one iconic scene that had a significant impact on their relationship. The NCIS spinoff will follow former NCIS special agents Tony and Ziva in their new life in Europe as they deal with threats while also raising Tali. Among the many things to look forward to, one scene sticks out.

Tony and Ziva have been through a lot together during their time on screen in NCIS. One pivotal experience for the pair, however, is often forgotten. Luckily, almost 2 decades later, NCIS: Tony & Ziva's story paves the way for it to be replicated.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva Can Recreate The Close Quarters Of “Boxed In”

One of Tony and Ziva's first significant moments together happened in NCIS season 3, episode 12, "Boxed In", where they get trapped in a shipping container. The nature of their work in NCIS and NCIS: Tony & Ziva means that these things can happen. It also means that the scene could easily be recreated in the spinoff.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva will likely also feature major investigations as Tony and Ziva work together to fight off villains and threats to protect their new life together. The circumstances they come across could force them to become trapped somewhere again. It would produce a scary yet somewhat nostalgic déjà vu for the couple.

“Boxed In” Helped Tony & Ziva Connect

Recreating the scene in NCIS: Tony & Ziva could help the pair connect again. The NCIS: Tony & Ziva trailer revealed that the couple are still toying with their will-they-won't-they relationship and treating it like a lingering question. Being trapped might force them to air everything out. It would be more than just a nostalgic reminder of their early days.

As they were trapped together with little room to spare in NCIS, they were forced to talk to each other and get to know one another better than they would have otherwise. The trope of being trapped together is entertaining. Seeing NCIS' best couple go through it together again in NCIS: Tony & Ziva would make it greater.
