The bonus images confirmed the return of several characters. Obviously, the main characters of the show, Henry (Jeremy Irvine), Julia (Hermione Corfield), Brian (Jamie Roy), and Ellen (Harriet Slater), will return. Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy), Ned (Conor MacNeill), and Malcom (Jhon Lumsden) are featured in the set photos as well. Now that production has been completed, viewers are wondering when the second installment will air. Typically, post-production takes roughly as long as filming, and it reportedly began filming around six months ago. This implies that Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 2 could be released as early as June 2026. However, this is all still just fan speculation as STARZ has not mentioned anything about a release date at the time of this article's publication.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood is the spinoff prequel series of Outlander. It follows the parents of the show's protagonists, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan).
