Even though Tracker season 2 sets up an intriguing plot for Reenie, its resolution isn't completely satisfying. Yes, episode 19 presents an exciting and thrilling offshoot of the story, but it shouldn't be its ending. Instead, Tracker season 3 must circle back to Reenie's season 2 arc and develop it even further to ensure it gets the conclusion it deserves.
Tracker Sets Up Reenie's Client To Be An Important Character (But The Payoff Is Disappointing)
Leo's Ending Isn't Satisfying
So, when Leo's assistant gets kidnapped and held for ransom in Tracker season 2's penultimate hour, Reenie enlists Colter's help to find her. To make a long story short, the characters later learn that the assistant was behind the scheme. She concocted the plan to get revenge on Leo because he had previously taken credit for her brother's work, resulting in her brother's death by suicide.

Tracker season 3 has much to learn from season 2's shortcomings, but one of the first mistakes it has to address is the disappointing conclusion to Leo's story. Consequently, Pej Vahdat must reprise his role as Leo in the upcoming episodes. It just wouldn't make sense if Leo's role in Tracker season 2, episode 19 is truly his last appearance in the series.

Given that the season 2 finale will continue Tracker's biggest mystery — the truth behind Ashton's death — Leo likely won't return in episode 20. So, it's up to season 3 to right the wrongs regarding Leo's season 2 ending. His character has the potential to be a great Tracker villain, meaning he must go out with a bang, not a whimper, like in "Rules of the Game."
How Leo Can Fit In Tracker Season 3
Reenie Can Continue Working For Leo
Pej Vahdat as Leo Sharf in Tracker season 2, episode 16
It would be rather easy for the writers to incorporate Leo into Tracker season 3's story. After season 2, episode 19, it's unclear whether Reenie will continue her professional relationship with Leo, meaning season 3 can simply reveal that he's still her client. Leo will undoubtedly still be involved in shady business deals in the future. As a result, Leo can step into a true villainous role, causing Reenie (and by extension, Colter) more harm and distress when Tracker season 3 rolls around.
