Dorit Kemsley is still navigating her coparenting relationship with estranged husband PK Kemsley amid their divorce.
“It’s challenging,” Dorit, 49, exclusively told Us Weekly at BravoCon 2025 on Friday, November 14, of raising her kids with PK, 58, following their split in spring 2024.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed she is “hoping that things will sort of straighten out,” noting it’s “really important” that she and PK find a happy medium.
“We need to be able to prioritize our children,” Dorit explained. “I’m hoping that at some point things will become a little bit less challenging.”

Dorit and PK weathered their fair share of storms during their relationship — many of which were filmed for RHOBH — before they announced in May 2024 that they had separated after nine years of marriage.
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the estranged couple wrote via Instagram at the time. “To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey.”
Nearly one year later, Us confirmed that Dorit filed for divorce from PK on April 25. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Dorit asked for sole legal and physical custody of the pair’s children, son Jagger, 11, and daughter Phoenix, 9. She also requested spousal support.
In May, Dorit and PK’s legal battle got even messier after he filed for joint custody of their two kids.
Us confirmed that PK waved his right to spousal support in the filing and asked the court to terminate Dorit’s request. He also asked that both parties pay their own attorney fees.
While attending BravoCon, Dorit told Us she was leaning on friends amid the separation. That included RHOBH newbie Rachel Zoe, who joins the cast for season 15 premiering next month.
“She’s a real girl’s girl,” Dorit said of Rachel, 54, on Friday. “And it was really great for me, because I’m obviously going through what I’m going through. She was not only a great sense of support, but [she] also had advice that was really helpful.”
Dorit noted that Rachel, who filed for divorce from Rodger Berman in July, has been “nice” to have by her side filming navigating her public breakup. “We bonded,” Dorit teased.
Ahead of season 15’s premiere, Dorit announced in August that she has written a memoir, Unburdened: Moving On, Letting Go & Putting It All on the Table, which will pull back the curtain on her personal life even more.
“For years, people have seen glimpses of my life — but this book is the full story. The beauty, the heartbreak, the fear, the fight, and the strength it took to become the woman I am today,” she said in a statement at the time. “I am writing this book not just to look back, but to move forward — with determination, grace, and honesty.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 premieres on Bravo Thursday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
