Nearly six months after the show was given a series order by CBS, the latest news comes in the form of a production update for Sheriff Country. The news was broken by Fire Country co-creator and star Max Thieriot, who mentioned that he "couldn’t be more excited." While expressing his excitement, the Bode actor also offered some concrete details about Sheriff Country's development, saying "We’ve been assembling a really incredible [writers] room," suggesting the work is beginning in earnest soon.
