After a lengthy break, the CBS show Tracker is returning to our television screens .
The hit drama show went on a break in early December and is set to return on February 16. The show revolves around Colter Shaw (played by Justin Hartley), a lone wolf survivalist who works towards finding missing persons and collecting the rewards.
In the premiere of the second season, viewers learned of the missing person's case that had haunted Colter for years – the case of Gina Picket. She had been missing for a decade and Colter believes Frank Whales (played by Ryan Dorsey) is behind it.
The new episode will be titled "The Disciple" and the longline describes that there's a new lead in the disappearance of Gina. Colter and Keaton work together to track down a serial killer.
Photos from the upcoming episode show the return of Frank and a new mysterious character Noah Darview (played by Nicholas Lea).
The mid-season finale in December ended with Gina's sister Camille (played by Floriana Lima) ending her relationship with Colter as she's given up hope on finding her sister and wants to move on. "I can’t see you without seeing her. I know it didn’t start off that way," she told him.
Then, a retired cop Colter has been working with, Keaton (played by guest star Brent Sexton) called Colter to let him know he had Alex, a guy who knew Frank for years, tied to a chair. Alex was beaten, and had confessed about his and Frank's past.
Alex revealed that someone named "Teacher" made him and Frank do things by blackmailing them. He added that Frank had it worse than he did. According to Alex, Teacher had a line of "pretty boys" to do whatever he said. This Teacher apparently also wanted Gina.
"I think he made Whales lure her to some place he liked. I’ve never been there," he told Keaton, "But he called it The Farm. Said he planted things there.”
Tracker returns Sunday, February 16 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
